The 2021 James V. Morgan Community Service award was presented to Bobby R. Her tireless involvement in many community organizations made her an easy choice.

Bobby was instrumental in the preservation project of The Woodville School. She is a member of the Ware River Garden Club giving her time and talents to their many community projects. Important Announcement - Dues

Dear Members:

Last December, the Board approved a motion to increase the dues by $50.00.  That motion was on the agenda to be presented at the Annual Membership Meeting, scheduled for January 15th.  Due to an uptick of Covid, that meeting was postponed.  As a result, the increase has not been approved by the membership.

Because of this, the collection of dues will be suspended until after the Annual Meeting on February 12th.  If you have recently sent a check, it will be held until after the Club has taken the vote.  For those who have already paid, WRYC will refund $50 if the increase is not approved.

We are sorry for any confusion this may have caused.

Thank you,

WRYC Board

Winter on the Ware

I don’t have much to report for February as there isn’t a great deal of Fleet activity this time of year. A reminder to the Sailing community that we are on for our February 19th meeting at the Club (11AM -2PM) to discuss the 2022 sailing season. I have received close to 30 responses to our survey and will be sending out an agenda and some sub-committee goals to those who responded.

Otherwise, just anticipating a well attended meeting and preparing for an active 2022 on the water !

Best

Jim Garrett
Fleet Manager
