From the Helm

As we wind down the active sailing season for 2026 there is still one more HUGE event to come. This upcoming weekend, October 10-12, 2026 WRYC will host the U.S. Albacore Nationals Regatta. Featuring past Governor’s Cup, national and international competitors the event will showcase fantastic sailing on our beautiful sailing grounds. If you have a chance, please stop by and take in some of the festivities. There are competitors traveling to WRYC from across the United States, Canada, and England. Thanks to all who have worked on planning, coordination, race committee prep, etc. Also, thanks to those members who have offered to open their homes to provide a place to say for our out of town guests. Your WRYC racing teams have been hard at work on the boats and at practice. WRYC will host a dinner for the competitors on Saturday evening, the event is open to club members, I hope many of you can make it.

See you on the water,

Scott Titus
